AT A GLANCE
The Best 270 Awning Ever
The Roam Arc Awnings epitomize meticulous craftsmanship, offering a experience unlike any other, especially while outdoors. From sun and rain to wind and snow, this awning doesn't just endure hazardous weather conditions; it triumphs over them.
270 DEGREES OF COVERAGE
The Arc 270 is the ultimate selection for individuals in search of a free-standing awning designed to shield you from challenging weather conditions. Boasting an impressive 14-foot wingspan and a generous 13-foot width when fully deployed, this wrap-around awning is particularly suited for vehicles with tailgates or for those who anticipate frequent utilization of their vehicle's trunk space.
CUSTOM DESIGNED ALUMINUM FRAME
Experience the best of both worlds with our all-aluminum frame construction: lightweight, durable, and rust-resistant. Our awning won't sag, droop, or dangle, and it can confidently stand without support in winds of up to 20mph. What's not to love?
INSANELY DURABLE FABRIC
When choosing fabric for our Arc series of awnings, we prioritized toughness and sustainability. We partnered with Challenge Outdoor Fabrics to develop a unique material. This fabric combines layers of woven polyester, including a robust 200D top face and a 70D ripstop backing, with an innovative 45-degree cross-ply weave in between. Plus, it's made from recycled polyester to support sustainability. This material even withstood a water rating test at 10,000 psi, ensuring your awning's durability against any weather.
CAST ALUMINUM HUBS
We're often asked how we created such a resilient awning, and the answer is simple: we refuse to compromise on quality. While other brands opt for cost-saving plastic hubs, we prioritize custom-casting aluminum hubs because that's what our customers deserve, and we refuse to compromise on quality.
BRONZE BUSHINGS
Setting up one of our arc awnings is a cinch, and the secret weapon behind this swift operation is the rugged bronze bushing. Crafted for durability, corrosion resistance, and precision, these bushings are like the gears in a well-oiled machine, allowing you to roll into your camp and find shelter from the elements before you buddy has time to ask if you want a beer.

No Instructions or guide for 270 degree awning
I got the 270 degree awning and it didn’t come with any instructions. Their guide on the awnings page is generic and doesn’t cover the 270. There are no operating instructions as well. Basic stuff but when you spend that much money on a product you expect more. Also I was told/read somewhere that ROAM products are made to work with Trailrax roof rack but if you use the Trailrax brackets the bolts don’t fit and you have to drill the holes out. That isn’t ROAMs problem but I found it a little disheartening. The huge awning only comes with 2 brackets which I definitely feel is under designed for how long and heavy this thing is. I used three brackets from Trailrax because they specifically make a bracket for the rear corner of 270degree awnings. It seems well made and I’m sure all will be fine but technically I still don’t know how you are supposed to secure the rear corner to the vehicle, it doesn’t seem to have a strap or anything for that that is shown in the graphics. Sure some of this may be obvious for some of the more experienced overlanders but definitely doesn’t help the first time buyer feel confident in operating the equipment.
Only the best from roam .
Have enjoyed the easy setup and rain/wind durability. Pairs well with the sides.
